The image features three people in an outdoor setting with a body of water and buildings in the background. On the left, a man is wearing a life jacket and is in mid-conversation with Erik Nosaluk in the center, who is dressed in business attire with a blazer and a smile, and is wearing a cap. On the right, the Hon. Joyce Murray is in a black blazer, looking off to the side. They are standing near a pole with a sign on it, under a clear blue sky, suggesting a casual, sunny atmosphere.

Erik Nosaluk is a communication professional based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People. He has primarily worked in communication roles within the federal and provincial political sectors throughout his career.

After successfully working on the win of Kevin Lamoureux in the 2010 by-election in his hometown of Winnipeg North, Nosaluk moved to Ottawa to work for the Liberal Research Bureau. There, he assisted the Official Opposition Caucus and performed quality assurance on various online products.

During the 2011 Federal Election, he worked with the Liberal Party of Canada’s Central Campaign and later served as the Digital Media Director for the Manitoba Liberal Party.

After politics, Nosaluk worked with professional illusionist and comedy magician Brian Glow on a summer tour, culminating in a role supporting the digital campaign of Glow’s ‘Vanishing Vegetables’ initiative, resulting in a donation of a half-million pounds of vegetables to Winnipeg Harvest.

After a stint as a Certified iOS Hardware Technician for Apple, Erik returned to Ottawa in 2018, taking on roles as Press Secretary and Senior Communications Advisor to Canada’s Minister of Digital Government and the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard.

In his spare time, Erik enjoys searching for the best cheeseburger, experimenting with cameras, and playing old video games.
